Global Village

Connected with Wi-Fi,

Spending all day long,

The Internet – a global village,

I have been a loyal resident for long.

Wired like a million neurons,

Answering and searching queries,

With a mix of keyword options,

Getting access to different theories.

Remnants of the nineties,

Seem to have seen it all,

From cable to wireless journey,

I have no time to play ball.

Glued to the screen,

The world is now closer, is it?

Looking for a simple incantation to fix this,

Oh, I miss those golden days.

Lessening emotional quotient,

Are the bonds weakened,

As bots slowly take over,

And humans lose lead.
